Red Team Operations

goal-oriented adversary simulation that tests your detection, response, and real-world resilience.

Overview

A red team engagement measures how well your people, processes, and technology stand up to a realistic, objective-driven attack. Rather than enumerating every vulnerability, we pursue specific goals such as accessing sensitive data or critical systems.

We emulate the tactics, techniques, and procedures of relevant threat actors, and can run the exercise covertly or as a collaborative purple team alongside your defenders.

What is included

  • Objective-based adversary emulation mapped to MITRE ATT&CK
  • Initial access via phishing, exposed services, or assumed breach
  • Lateral movement, privilege escalation, and persistence
  • Detection and response assessment for your blue team
  • Optional purple-team collaboration and knowledge transfer

Why it matters

Knowing your vulnerabilities is not the same as knowing whether you would detect and stop a real attack. Red teaming answers that question before an actual adversary does.

How we work

A clear, repeatable process.

01

Scope

We define targets, rules of engagement, and success criteria with a fixed-fee quote.

02

Assess

Senior operators execute the work hands-on, sharing critical findings live.

03

Report

You receive a technical report, executive summary, and prioritized remediation guidance.

04

Retest

Once fixed, we re-verify at no extra cost and confirm the risk is closed.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a red team and a penetration test?

A penetration test aims to find as many vulnerabilities as possible. A red team engagement is objective-driven — we simulate a real attacker pursuing a specific goal such as reaching sensitive data, testing whether your team detects and responds to the intrusion along the way.

How long does a red team engagement take?

Red team engagements typically run three to six weeks. The longer timeframe allows us to operate stealthily, test detection capabilities realistically, and pursue multi-stage attack paths that a shorter test cannot cover.

What is a purple team exercise?

A purple team exercise is a collaborative version of red teaming where our offensive operators work alongside your blue team in real time. We execute attack techniques, your defenders practise detection and response, and both sides share knowledge to close gaps faster.
